Virtual quiz in aid of the Child Brain Injury Trust raises £1,400
12th May 2020
3PB Barristers hosted a successful fundraiser by video, with over 170 participants and raised nearly £1,400 for the Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT). The national chambers’ Clinical Negligence and Personal injury Teams played quizmaster to 44 teams of law firms and other friends in aid of the Child Brain Injury Trust (CBIT), a charity that 3PB has long supported.
CBIT is an exceptional charity giving support for both emotional and practical issues that children and young people face after acquiring a brain injury – which often leaves them with life changing injuries. Today they are the leading voluntary sector organisation providing this support, with no government funding.
The quiz event – which was played on Zoom - is described by 3PB’s Eloise Turnnidge, a Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence barrister, on the teams’ twitter account in her interview on video which is also featured below.
The winning team was Quizzy Rascals from JMW Solicitors, and our huge thanks to everyone for contributing to the success of the event. To make a last minute donation to the event, visit CBIT's Just Giving page for the Quiz.
If you would like to participate in 3PB’s next evening fundraiser quiz, it will take place in the first week of June and will jointly be in aid of CBIT and the Spinal Injuries Association. Details will follow via email and on our Twitter pages.
