Victoria Jones will be attending the sixth annual Retromark conference as a panellist

The conference returns for another afternoon of in-person trademark law and practice hosted by Darren Meale of Simmons & Simmons and the IP Kat.

This conference will take place on Thursday, 3 April 2025. It will start at 2pm and finishing with drinks and canapes from 6:15pm at Simmons offices in City point, Moorgate.

Victoria will be joined by other guests on a panel who will explore the decision in Thatcher’s v Aldi along with several other recent Court of Appeal decisions which have overturned first instance judgments to the benefit of trademark owners and ask whether we’ve entered a new regime of stronger and broader protection.

Victoria is particularly well-known for her expertise in trademark and passing off matters in relation to which she has acted for many well-known brands as well as many small and medium size enterprises.

Tickets are free, but there is again an option to donate to charity by purchasing a special ticket – the event will be supporting Bowel Cancer UK.
