Oliver Nunn presents LexisNexis webinar on Renters Rights Bill
10th March 2025

Oliver Nunn, specialist property and housing law barrister at 3PB Barristers (3 Paper Buildings), has presented a webinar for LexisNexis University on the Renters Rights Bill that will be coming into force later this year.
Oliver’s webinar, entitled “Guide to the Renters Rights Bill”, is designed to offer practical assistance and guidance to solicitors and other legal and tax professionals. The session covers four main topics of discussion:
- The context in which the Bill is being presented, by reference to statistics on the rental market and possession proceedings.
- The ways in which the Bill legislates on the marketing and creation of tenancies, including anti-discriminatory provisions and restrictions on rent bidding.
- The proposed amendments to the management of tenancies, including rent increases, obligations on landlords and sanctions for non-compliance.
- The significant change to the ways in which tenancies are brought to an end and possession is recovered.
