On 3rd June at Bristol Crown Court Dario Carboni changed his plea to guilty in respect of the manslaughter of pensioner Kenneth Kiley in July last year. 3PB criminal barristers Jodie Mittell and Gemma White awarded Certificate of Congratulations from the Chief Constable of Hampshire following the successful prosecution of multiple drug dealing networks in Southampton. Jodie Mittell and Gemma White have successfully prosecuted the main class A drug networks discovered during “Operation Shield” in Southampton. Jodie led Gemma in the prosecution of the eight “Scouse” network defendants bringing drugs from Liverpool. In addition, Jodie prosecuted six defendants in the “Beer” network operating from London whilst Gemma dealt with the “Magic” network based in Southampton.

Nigel Lickley QC leading Gemma White successfully prosecuted RAD Trading Ltd and company director Darren Manley for selling psychoactive substances ‘Legal Highs’ from their 'Red Eye’ Shop in Oxford in 2014. They were instructed by Oxfordshire County Council Trading standards department. The prosecution was brought under the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
