Matthew Wyard provides talk on statutory funding, deprivation of liberty and safeguarding to the Professional Deputies Forum Spring Conference

Today, 5th March 2025, 3PB’s Matthew Wyard will give a joint talk with James Pantling-Skeet of Boyes Turner at the Professional Deputies Forum Spring Conference.
Entitled ‘Statutory funding and safeguarding’ the talk will include an outline of the various statutory frameworks for health and social care funding, what a deputy’s authority to manage direct payments and personal health budgets is, deprivations of liberty and how professional deputies should address safeguarding issues as they arise.
