Jonathan Underhill is guest speaker at the National Food Law Conference 2021

3PB’s specialist crime and regulatory law barrister Jonathan Underhill (pictured here) was one of the guest speakers at the National Food Law Conference 2021, alongside the likes of Sterling Crew, Chair of the Advisory Board of the Food Authenticity Network of the Laboratory of the Government Chemist and Sam Jennings, Chair of the IFST Food Regulatory Group.
The webinar was a three hour event for on the latest developments in food law organised by the Legal Training Consultancy. Attendees included private practice lawyers, in-house lawyers in food and beverage companies and retailers, food scientists and technologists, trading standards and environmental health officers.
Jonathan provided a comprehensive update on the Enforcement action and policy including the Novel food enforcement regime, CBD products, the enforcement targets and policy aims of the National Food Crime Unit (NFCU) as well as providing commentary on the decision in FSA v Bakers of Nailsea (2021).
