The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has appointed fourteen new members to its Cricket Discipline Panel (CDP).

Among the new appointees is Gareth GrahamGareth GrahamCall: 2006, who has extensive experience of chairing sports disciplinary hearings (including for the Rugby Football Union, World Rugby, The Football Association, the British Horseracing Authority and British Cycling), as well as expertise in employment and sports law generally, with a particular focus on whistleblowing, safeguarding and discrimination cases.

The CDP is the independent tribunal that will hear and adjudicate on cases of alleged regulatory breaches in professional cricket. Richard Whittam KC, CDP Chair, said: “I am delighted to welcome our new members to the Cricket Discipline Panel. Each of them brings a wealth of experience and expertise in their respective fields, which will be invaluable to the Panel. Their diverse backgrounds and commitment to fair play will ensure that we continue to maintain the highest levels of discipline and governance within the sport. I look forward to working with them as we embark on our important task together.
