You are invited to attend 3PB's Public and Regulatory Law team webinar series on Defending Judicial Review proceedings.
Following the life of a claim through 3 key stages, our one-hour webinars will highlight the pitfalls practitioners will most likely encounter during the judicial review process and provide answers to frequently asked questions.

Time will be set aside for questions and answers during the sessions but feel free to submit any questions in advance when registering or by email.

Session 1: PRE-PROCEEDINGS on Thursday 1 June - 11am until 12pm covered:
- Avoid public law challenges
- Principles of good decision making
- Preparing the pre-action response.
Session 2 on POST ISSUE, PRE-PERMISSION was presented by Matthew Wyard and Charlotte Hadfield on Thursday 22 June - 11am until 12pm and covered:
- Permission procedure
- Dealing with interim applications and urgency
- Analysing the substantive claim
- Preparing AoS/SGR
- Seeking directions
- Analysing a negative permission decision
- Permission hearings.
Session 3: POST PERMISSION on Wednesday 12 July - 11am until 12pm will be presented by Matthew Wyard and Jim Hirschmann who will cover:
- Procedure post permission
- Analysing a positive permission decision
- Considering amending your claim/preparing the DGR
- Collating and preparing evidence
- Preparing for trial.
