3PB Barristers' Commercial & Business Law Group invites you to our breakfast seminar in Birmingham on Tuesday 20th March.

Our breakfast seminars are aimed at solicitors and litigators in Commercial practice.

The seminar, chaired by Gavin Hamilton will include short presentations from David Berkley QC and James Davies, discussing:

David Berkley KC - Basis Clauses; Exclusions and Contractual Estoppel: What have we learned from the Swaps Mis-selling Cases? David will consider post-Crestsign v The Royal Bank of Scotland [2014] EWHC 3043 (Ch), and the prospects for claimants in attempting to overcome hurdles presented by contractual terms.

James Davies - Unfair terms: A review of recent developments:
1. What has changed recently?
2. UCTA 1997: dealing on another's standard terms
3. Changes to unfair terms in consumer contracts
