Criminal QC Adam Feest appointed as a Circuit Judge

We are delighted to announce that the Queen has appointed 3PB’s criminal barrister Adam Feest QC (pictured) to be a Circuit Judge with effect from 12 September 2022.
Called to the Bar in 1994 and taking silk in 2016, Adam Feest QC has been a Crown Court Recorder for the last 12 years.
With over 25 years’ experience at the Bar, he has led some of the most complex and important criminal cases across the Western Circuit, especially in the larger court centres of Winchester and Bristol, as well as appearing more widely including at the Central Criminal Court, courts across the Midlands and South Wales.
Adam has been head of the criminal team in chambers since 2016 and has taken an active part in helping with the training of pupils and new practitioners on the Western Circuit. This included being one of the lead trainers for the Western Circuit in its roll out of the nationally-approved vulnerable witness training course.
In 2020, Adam was awarded the Chief Constables Award for leading on one of the UK’s largest historical sexual abuse claims extending from the early 1970’s to the mid-1990’s.
