Alice Horn, Jack Felvus and Laurie-Elizabeth Ketley become members of chambers

3PB are pleased to announce that barristers Alice Horn, Jack Felvus and Laurie-Elizabeth Ketley (pictured here, left to right) have successfully completed their twelve-month pupillages and become members of the 250-barrister, national chambers.

Former Prince of Wales and David Karmel Scholar Alice HornAlice HornCall: 2022 (call:2022) joins following a ten-year career in industry internationally. Alice is a much-in-demand barrister with significant experience in both County Court and High Court matters and specialises in commercial litigation, adjudication and arbitration including international and offshore disputes. A former judicial assistant in the Commercial, TCC, and Admiralty Divisions of the High Court, Alice is a tutor on the Gray’s Inn International Commercial Arbitration Course, a legal researcher with the Standing International Forum of Commercial Courts (SIFoCC) and was most recently published alongside Mr Justice Andrew Baker in Lloyd’s Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly.

Former first-class law graduate Jack FelvusJack FelvusCall: 2022 (call;2022) will continue his busy practice with a particular focus on public law, property and estates and personal injury cases from 3PB's Bournemouth office. A former public law paralegal at a well-known law firm in Cardiff, Jack handled a substantial number of public law claims with the firm including judicial reviews about the provision of suitable education and school exclusions. He also had experience of appeals to the Planning Court under s289 Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Infected Blood Inquiry and Article 2 Inquests.

Former Baroness Hale scholar and first-class law graduate Laurie-Elizabeth KetleyLaurie-Elizabeth KetleyCall: 2022 (call:2022) is joining 3PB's Birmingham office and has already established a busy family law practice. Laurie represents local authorities, guardians, and parents in a variety of public and private law matters, including appearing in the Court of Appeal in the notable case Re P and E (Care Proceedings: Whether to hold a Fact-Finding Hearing) [2024] EWCA Civ 403. In addition to public and private law matters, Laurie also represents individuals in financial remedy cases. Prior to joining 3PB, she worked in the family and civil law departments at multiple law firms.

They have shown terrific tenacity and a lot of hard work, aptitude and expert advocacy skills during their pupillages and I know will be excellent additions to our chambers.”

This follows the announcement in April this year that two other pupil barristers - Rosa Thomas and Lucy Bill - had become members after completing their 12-month pupillages with 3PB.
