Commercial and property specialist barrister joins 3PB’s expanding Birmingham team

Neil Fawcett (2006 call) has joined 3PB‘s leading Commercial and Property teams. Neil has a broad commercial and chancery practice and will be based in 3PB’s Birmingham Office in the landmark Colmore Building.
In the property arena Neil acts for individuals, private companies and public bodies in relation to commercial property disputes, including multi-day High Court and County Court trials and has experience of trials in the property tribunal.
In banking and financial services litigation Neil has dealt with a wide range of litigation for banks/financial institutions as well as for companies and individuals.
Neil specialises in all types of commercial/business contracts, especially where contentious issues have arisen to do with construction of terms, formation, breach and termination, the adequacy of consideration, the law of compromise, penalty and exclusion clauses, misrepresentation, mistake, fraud, forgery, estoppel arguments, assignment and the imposition of trusts and fiduciary duties.
Neil previously practiced at St Philips and St Ives Chambers and also sits as a Deputy District Judge.
