Mathew Gullick and Caroline Stone appointed to the Attorney-General's panels of Junior Counsel to the Crown in civil matters, with effect from 1 September 2016

Chambers is pleased to announce that Mathew Gullick and Caroline StoneCaroline StoneCall: 2005 have been appointed to the Attorney-General’s panels of Junior Counsel to the Crown in civil matters, with effect from 1 September 2016.

Mathew has been appointed to the A Panel, having spent four years on the B Panel and prior to that four years on the C Panel.

Caroline has been appointed to the B Panel after completing five years on the C Panel.

The Attorney-General’s panels of counsel consists of just over 400 junior counsel who undertake civil and EU work for all government departments. There are three London panels (an A panel for senior juniors, a B panel for middle juniors, a C panel for junior juniors) and a regional panel for work outside London and the South East.  Appointments to the London panels are made annually, via an open competition, for terms of five years.
