Rosa Thomas and Lucy Bill become members
2nd April 2024
3PB are pleased to announce that barristers Rosa Thomas and Lucy Bill (pictured here, left to right) have successfully completed their twelve-month pupillages today and become tenants with the 250-barrister, national chambers.
Former Oxford University graduate, public affairs specialist and researcher Rosa Thomas (call:2023) is joining 3PB's London office and will be focusing on employment and discrimination claims as well as disputes in the education sector, following her specialist pupillage at 3PB in these two practice areas. Before joining 3PB Rosa worked on public policy for Age UK and has been a volunteer representative with the Schools Exclusion Project.
Former Queen's University Belfast graduate and a Washington Ireland Program Alumna Lucy Bill (call:2022) will be focusing on personal injury and clinical negligence after completing her pupillage in these specialist disciplines from 3PB's Winchester office. Before joining 3PB, Lucy worked as volunteered as a debt and consumer law advisor for BPP and was a legal intern with law firms such as Pinsent Masons, Allen & Overy and A&L Goodbody.
3PB's Head of Chambers, David Berkley KC, said: “I am delighted to welcome both Rosa and Lucy as new tenants and junior counsel at 3PB. They have shown great tenacity, hard work, aptitude and expert advocacy skills during their pupillages and I know will be excellent additions to our chambers.”
This follows the announcement last September that the four other 2023 pupil barristers - Poppy Watson, Liz Adams, Emma Greening and Dr Angel Matoke-Njagi - had become members after completing their 12-month pupillages with 3PB.
