The Renters' Reform Bill: what next for Landlords?
The 3PB Property and Estates law team are inviting you to attend our webinar on The Renters’ Reform Bill via Zoom on Thursday 15 June at 11am for one hour.
Chaired by Charles Irvine, 3PB Juniors Rachel Bale, Victoria Hamblen and Aaron Mayers will discuss, as a panel, the much awaited Renters’ Reform Bill and its likely impacts on landlords. Our barristers will consider the proposed legal changes and provide practical guidance for landlords in the private renting sector, in the event the Bill is enacted in current form. The following issues will be considered through your questions:
- The scrapping of section 21 ‘no fault’ evictions and moving to simpler tenancies
- The introduction of a new ombudsman to settle disputes
- The new portal providing information to both landlords and tenants and a requirement to join the ombudsman scheme
- Tenants' right to request a pet in their home
- The end of fixed term tenancies & rent review clauses and introduction of more mandatory grounds.
We would be delighted to see you on Zoom. Please register above so that we know we have enough Zoom spaces available.
