6th January 2023
3PB Barristers (3 Paper Buildings) has launched CoP Comm, a new podcast series covering all things court of protection and community care, hosted by specialist public law barrister Matthew Wyard.
Each episode will cover two or three current topics, such as current awareness, latest jurisprudence and pointers for practice. Matthew will also regularly be joined by guests in the field for interesting discussions and debates. Each episode will be just long enough to give a detailed discussion on each of the topics, while keeping to the perfect length for a daily commute or to be enjoyed over a morning coffee.
The first episode in the series, Matthew brings listeners up to date with the changes that came into force on the 1st January for both the Court of Protection Rules and new Upfront Notification Process for Property and Affairs Deputyship applications. The Powers of Attorney Bill is also discussed.
CoP Comm is available on many podcast platforms including Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Buzzsprout.
