3PB’s Sunyana Sharma appointed as part-time Deputy District Judge

3PB (3 Paper Buildings) are delighted to announce that regulatory and inquest barrister Sunyana SharmaSunyana SharmaCall: 2006 (pictured here) has been appointed by the Lord Chief Justice as a part-time Deputy District Judge on the South-Eastern Circuit to preside on civil and family cases.

Sunyana practises in inquest law, professional disciplinary work, maritime law, health and safety law and all areas of regulatory compliance and consumer protection. She has been appointed to the C list of specialist regulatory advocates for the Health and Safety Executive, Office of Rail Regulation and the Environment Agency. She is also an Assistant Coroner for Southampton, Winchester and Portsmouth.

Sunyana is the latest DDJ at 3PB and joins an array of part-time judges and Recorders who also have busy practices at 3PB alongside their judicial roles. Her appointment follows just days after the news that 3PB family barrister Emma Harman will sit as a DDJ on the Western Circuit as a judge of civil and family cases.
