3PB congratulates former member, Judge Rupert Jones, on his appointment as the new Chief Justice of St Helena, Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha

3PB congratulates its former member, Upper Tribunal Judge Rupert Jones, on his appointment as the new Chief Justice of St Helena, Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha, effective from 1 January 2022.

Judge Jones (pictured here) was called to the Bar in 2000. From 2014-2016, he served as Attorney General of Anguilla before returning to 3PB. He was appointed as a salaried Judge of the Upper Tribunal in 2018.

Judge Jones is the co-editor of Millington & Sutherland Williams on the Proceeds of Crime and Ward & Jones on National Security Law, Procedure and Practice, both published by Oxford University Press.
