Gillian undertakes a range of family work including Private Law Children, Public Law Children, Non-Molestation and Occupation proceedings and Ancillary Relief.

Gillian’s experience in Family Proceedings, County and High Court includes:

  • Domestic violence in Children Act and Injunction proceedings
  • Committal proceedings
  • A range of section 8 orders including shared residence orders
  • Applications to transfer proceedings to another jurisdiction
  • Allegations of sexual and physical abuse of children
  • Alcohol and drug abuse by parents
  • Parents with learning difficulties and psychiatric problems
  • Annulment proceedings involving non-consummation of marriage
  • Instruction from the Official Solicitor involving patient detained under the Mental Health Act and the consideration of Wookey capacity
  • Ancillary relief proceedings
  • Variation of maintenance orders
