ANDREW SHERIFF RIP

15th January 2019

3 Paper Buildings (3PB) has very sadly reported today that property and commercial litigation barrister Andrew Sheriff passed away on Boxing Day 26 December 2018, after battling with cancer. Despite his illness Andrew continued to support his colleagues and provide his expert knowledge and assistance for the benefit of his clients and colleagues. An exceptional barrister, he will be remembered for his dedication to his clients and to 3PB in equal measure.

3PB’s new Head of Chambers, David Berkley QC said: “Andrew was a highly valued member of our Chambers, and our Oxford office, and was greatly respected by the barristers in our Property & Estates team and beyond. He made an immense contribution to the life and work of Chambers and his untimely death will be a real loss to 3PB. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mona and his family, as well as his many friends, at this exceptionally difficult time.

Andrew Sheriff, who read history at the University of Oxford, had 18 years experience as a barrister. He previously worked for six years as Business Affairs Manager for a successful independent music company in London.

Andrew’s funeral will take place tomorrow at 2pm on Wednesday 16 January 2019 at the University of Oxford’s Harris Manchester College on Mansfield Road in Oxford (OX1 3TD).
